Fishing was good at Bartlett this Saturday with almost 60 limits weighed-in and some nice weights that could have won past tournaments! The team of Crawford and Goslin won the JackAz Bass tournament held Saturday, November 22nd at Bartlett Lake beating a field of 70 teams. They combined to weigh-in 14.45 lbs, including the 4.28 lb Big Fish of the tournament, to take home checks totaling $2,150! The team of Hodge and Mills were second with 13.18 lbs, with a 3.82 lb kicker, and collected $1,200. Third place and $1,300 went to Understiller and Howden with a total weight of 12.12 lbs and a 3.91 lb kicker which was the second big bass of the day . News of a fellow bass fisherman being critically injured in an unfortunate boating accident at Bartlett on Saturday stunned everyone at the lake. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
Jim Wood and Scott Guetti won the JackAz Bass tournament at Bartlett Lake over a field of 68 teams. They teamed up to weigh-in a five fish limit of 13.28 lbs including the 4.36 lb Big Fish of the tournament to take home checks totaling $2150. The team of Wheeler & Amerson were second with 12.01 lbs and collected $900. Third place and $800 went to Senft & Daniels with a total weight of 12.00 lbs.  Kruezer's and Czerniski's 30.79lb day two limit
Two teams, Chaney/Shattenburg and Finley/Snedecker, were deadlocked at 13.77 lbs at the end of day one at Roosevelt. The team of Hawks/Pavlov were a close 3rd just .3 lbs behind with 13.48 lbs including the day's 9.58 lb big bass. 2007-2008 JackAZ Bass points leaders Dean Kreuzer and Steve Czerniski were 4 1/2 lbs back in 8th place with 9.19lbs.
San Carlos gave up some really nice sacks on day two. Hawks/Pavlov brought in 16.13 lbs for 4th place on day two. Porter/Porter came in 3rd on day two with a very nice 17.02 bag. Day one leaders Chaney/Shattenburg came in 2nd on day two with a solid 21.07 lb catch. But Czerniski & Kreuzer have San Carlos dialed in! Their huge day two limit weighed 30.79 lbs and included the big fish of the day an 8.78 lb kicker!
Final results of the two day event have the team of Steve Czerniski and Dean Kreuzer winning the championship with a two day total of 39.98 lbs to take home checks totaling $3,700. Second place and $2,200 went to Judy Chaney and Sam Shattenburg with a total of 34.84 lbs. Third place went to the team of Hawks and Pavlov who weighed a total of 29.61 lbs and collected $1,600.
