Jeff Allen wins JackAZ Bass Tournament at Roosevelt |

Wednesday, 21 January 2009 |
|
Jeff Allen 1st Place 15.69lbs People say its a disadvantage now fishing a tournament alone at Roosevelt since you can only weigh in one slot fish and two person teams get to weigh in two slots. No problem though if you can weigh in five "overs"! Jeff Allen won the JackAz Bass tournament Saturday, Jan. 17th at Roosevelt, fishing alone, and topped a field of 36 teams with a 5 fish limit of 15.69 lbs! Roosevelt's been producing some really big bass this year so its surprising that Jeff's 3.67 lb kicker also took big fish of the day. For his solo effort Jeff took home $4200!
The team of Jacobs & Mason came in 2nd with 13.79 lbs including a 3.50 lb kicker for 3rd big fish and they took home $1,925. Third place and $1,450 went to Cook & Shura with a total weight of 13.67 lbs and the 2nd big fish of the day a 3.58 lb bass. For all the tournament details Click Here . For tournament Photos Click Here Thanks to all the teams who came out on Saturday. Our next tournament is Feb. 21st at Roosevelt - Jack Lewis Tournament Director |
