Announcing our Elite Series Tournaments for 2009-2010 |

We've re-named our team tournaments as the Elite Series for 2009-2010. The Elite Series tournaments are open to pros, guides, weekend anglers, and amateurs alike. Aluminum boats are welcome too. We've reduced our entry fee from $325 to $250 to try and make our tournaments more affordable during these tough economic times. As always, the entry fee includes a big fish option. For those that enjoy and can afford having more money at stake, we've added a 50-30-20 total weight $50 option. The option pays back 90% and pays 1st, 2nd and 3rd places 50%, 30%, 20% respectively. The tournament rules are the same as last years and are posted HERE . The Elite Series schedule is: October 17, Roosevelt

It was a beautiful night to fish at Bartlett last Saturday. 26 teams fished our 3rd night tournament of the year. Congratulations to Mitch Vitkovich and Scott Rapo on the win with an outstanding Bartlett limit of 15.05 lbs!

Announcing New "Amateurs Only" Circuit |

New JackAZ Bass "Amateurs Only" circuit has been started to allow competition between amateurs & weekend anglers only. Aluminum boats are more than welcome. If you have ever fished a tournament as a "boater" & paid a basic entry fee (does not include options) of $350 or more, you are not eligible to fish this series. Should you ignore this rule & enter a "JackAZ Amateurs Only" event, your entry fee & awards (if any) will be immediately forfeited. If you are a licensed fishing guide, you may not fish "JackAZ Amateurs Only"... SIMPLE Rules! The entry fee is $170 and includes the big bass and goon fish options. Friday, June 5th, day 1 at Roosevelt, was pretty good fishing. At the end of day 1, Randy Cason and Tim Price were in 1st place with 16.7 lbs and held nearly a 4 lb lead over 2nd place Hallock/Austin who weighed 12.82 lbs. Cook and Shura were 3rd with 12.13. Czerniski/Kruezer were in 7th more than 6 lbs out of the lead.
Saturday, May 2nd, day 2 at San Carlos was true to recent form, great bass fishing. Czerniski and Kruezer continued to dominate on San Carlos. They made up the 6 lb deficit, got the big bass of the tournament, an 8.92 kicker and weighed a total of 28.29 lbs. Points leaders Brad Cook and Matt Shura weighed 24.89 lbs for the second largest bag. Hallock and Austin were 3rd with 21.73 lbs.

A little breezy but still a beautiful night to fish at Bartlett last Saturday. 38 boats fished our first night tournament of the year. Congratulations to Chad Harvey and Jason Brown for the win.

Leroy Price and Jeff Allen took second place and $800 with an impressive 24.06 lb sack. Bruce and Josh Johnson came in third with 22.92 lbs for $450.
